June 2019 – Present

User Experience Lead

Emboldened with the management and adaptation of company technologies and resources to empower User Experience and Business Engagement amongst our employees, business partners, and end-users - Globally and across North America.

Performed duties include but are not limited to: Stakeholder management across North America sites to support business partners with engagement; support in the delivery of projects/initiatives, ensure implemented technologies are aligned to relevant standards and policies; support in BAU processes across sites, manage and coordinate use of local and central service partners; provide active contribution to market-specific and global IT projects.

Key Contributions:

IT & Network Infrastructure: Supported in the development and launch of Americas first Tech Café and first Global Virtual Tech Café services, which expanded on the user experience and scope of delivery for desk side support services to employees. Spearheaded the contract negotiations for wireless services across North America, expanding on technological capabilities for growing off-site and remote business needs, while also developing a more streamlined user experience in the mobile process.

Learning & Development Operations Consultant

Worked with key partners to identify and disseminate effective learning protocols and procedures for all national and international personnel learning and training centers. Effectively monitored changing industry standards to meet positive personnel learning outcomes, including, but not limited to: utilizing growing technological sectors such as virtual reality. Senior Analyst for monitoring and deploying national training initiatives by forecasting industry needs, analyzing current implemented standards, and creating and procuring actionable data in order to accommodate shifts in company’s needs.

User Research & Operations Manager

Responsible for the development and operational control of all research center activities, including, but not limited to: creation, implementation, tracking, and evaluation of research projects from inception through completion; ensuring quality application of all project and staff activities; market research for product creation; product design and research development for desktop & mobile based brain games; monitoring a research budget over $9.5M; and creating user experience research designs. Senior Research Associate

Worked as an internal resource, providing guidance on research methodology, data analyses, and user experience to design and development teams, key stakeholders, and collaborators in order to ensure informed data driven designs. Effectively planned and conducted all internal and external research projects, while also gathering and analyzing actionable data from a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods (lab studies, heuristics, surveys, interviews, usability, A/B testing, etc.)

March 2014 - June 2014 (4 Months)

Legislative Aide for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein

Conducted exploratory research and submitted bill proposals for legislative assistants, wrote constituent letters, and guided constituents through government entities such as the Department of Veteran Affairs. Worked with Communications Director and Press Secretary to address media inquiries regarding the Senator’s position on legislation, press releases, and current events. Contributed writing efforts for speech remarks, resolutions, and proclamations presented on the Senate Floor and at special events. Addressed issues such as the California drought crisis, sustainable energy practices, student-loan options, and quality control in VA hospitals.

Research Associate And Lab Manager

Responsible for lab management and technical support, including but not limited to: performing research techniques and procedures, training of incoming laboratory members (new postdocs, undergraduate researchers, staff, etc.) in lab safety, lab organization, basic techniques/orientation, overseeing inventory and ordering of supplies, maintenance and acquisition of laboratory equipment, organization of events and meetings, and coordination of lab safety efforts. Assistant research associate monitoring research projects at all phases of a project lifecycle: concept testing, pilot testing, series maintenance, and tracking health after launch. Contributing original ideas and handling inter-laboratory collaborations, including exchange of materials and information based on coded, analyzed, and reported data results.
